DONATIONS TO LOCAL CLASSROOMS
In addition to our programming at Holstein Park, we make arts education donations to local classrooms such as Pulaski International School of Chicago, A. N. Pritzker School, Chicago International Charter School – Bucktown and Goethe Elementary. See a complete list of projects we have helped fund

Here’s what the teachers have to say:

Dear Bucktown Arts Fest,
It makes me so happy to see that you care so much about the students of Pulaski and the strengthening of their music education. This will mean so much to the students once they hear about this. They were already so excited to hear about the Donors Choose program, but to see such quick results from a generous donor will leave them speechless.

Since you are so close to our school, this will not be the last time you hear from the Pulaski band and music program. This will be the beginning of a great relationship!

With gratitude,
Mr. G

Dear Bucktown Arts Fest,First and foremost I want to thank you for your awesome donation!!! Because of your donation we were able to provide many new books for my classroom. My students love every one of the new books they have received. The smiles on their faces when I told showed them all the books were priceless. They couldn’t wait to get their little hands on them! The books you donated will add a sparkle to our current library. Reading can open up new worlds and enrich children’s lives. Reading can provide children with plenty of good, clean fun !
With gratitude,
Ms. Wayland
Dear Bucktown Arts Fest,

I am so touched by your generous donations. You have tremendously impacted my classroom in such a positive way. The children were so excited when I opened the box in the classroom. Their eyes grew bigger when we set the center up together. This center is one of the most popular in our classroom. The children love to have a place to go to to listen to stories. They are able to turn the pages themselves and follow along with the words. They are experiencing pure joy in this center. We listen to the story as a whole group. Then, the story is placed in the new listening center for the children to listen to it. My students are empowered to develop and enhance their own literacy skills.
With gratitude,
Mrs. Markson
